Meet Monty from Beaulieu

We came upon Monty this morning in Bealieu down on the edge of the New Forest. Wandering up the High Street we (well perhaps not me) could not resist a shop called 'Bear it in Mind' (http://www.bearitinmind.com/index.html). Despite me refering to him as Mr Grumpty, we ended up splashing out on Monty (named after Lord Montagu).



He then accompanied us on a whistle stop tour of the New Forest, starting with Bealieu...



...we then showed him some New Forest Ponies. Here he is siting by the car window (that is a foal having a nap in the distance).

and then finally by the War Memorial in Lyndhurst.



He's now gone on his travels further afield but will hopefully re-appear on Dobbinland in the future.
