September Garden

False Acacia, Mock Acacia or Black Locust Tree (Robinia pseudoacacia) - whatever its name it has got too big so last weekend I was under instruction to do something.

Half an hour later and about a third of the tree was on the lawn.

You get a different view of the garden from up a ladder.

The seaside bed looks good

It may only take half an hour to cut down to size but another couple of hours to clear up.

One of our less welcome visitors...and we have had quite a few recently.

More views of the seaside bed.

The rose by the potting table.

Two of our three apple trees are going to give us a good crop.

We are still picking blackberries ...

...and tomatoes.
