First the neighbour’s pear tree which has been full of fruit this year and is a favourite for flocks of starlings who suddenly descend onto the tree then fly off at the slightest disturbance.
Unfortunately the sequence of pictures doesn't really capture how impressive this is (I will never win a wildlife photography prize!
After we watched the old cars this morning we took Skye to the local park. I forgot her ball so we had to make do with a stick. Below is the standard look that says 'Get on with it - throw the stick'.
She loved running through the leaves after she had retrieved the stick.
