Last of the Summer Wine (well Beer)
Holden's is one of only 16 independent family brewers left in Britain and is still 100% family run by the third and fourth generations of the family. It was founded in 1915 in the Park Inn at Woodsetton, Dudley. They own about 20 pubs of which The Shrubbery Cottage. Heath Lane, Oldswinford, Stourbridge is one.
Golden Glow : Alcohol By Volume: 4.4%
An 18ct gold, golden ale with subtle yet fragrant hop aromas, a moreish gentle sweetness and an almost citrus like pleasant bitter finish. Brewed using the finest English Maris Otter malts and choicest Fuggles, Golden Glow is a thirst quenchingly refreshing beer. Champion Beer of Britain Bronze Medal Winner in the Golden Ales Category 2006.
