Paintball, an old church and dog walking

Today started by taking Matthew and his friends to ‘Victory Wood’ near Worth in West Sussex to go paintballing – Happy Birthday!

On the way back we stopped to visit Worth Church. St Nicholas Church at Worth, is one of the oldest in the country dating back to Saxon times. The guide book notes that parts of it probably date to between 950 and 1050 AD, including nearly all the walls of the Nave and three magnificent arches within the church.

In the afternoon I took Skye out to the woods for a walk – the bluebells are only just coming out but it is amazing how few leaves there are on the trees.
