Daffodils at last

Finally after cold, snow, wind and rain the first daffodils have put in an appearance in the garden. they are only small and in a sheltered place by the heather bed but hopefully there are more to come soon.

As another sign the ground is warming, I've planted my early potatoes and shallots.
