Upwaltham Barns

Found via the National Gardens Scheme, we visited Upwaltham Barns yesterday, halfway between Chichester and Petworth in West Sussex.

A former farm which has now transformed into a Wedding venue making good use of the C17 flint barns.

The walled terraced garden provides shelter for  a nice collection of perenial plants.

In the distance can be seen the C12 church of St Mary the Virgin (otherwise known as  'The Church in the Fields').

A view of the farm from across the road at the church.
