A hot afternoon at the Museum

Life and death in Pompeii and Herculaneum

Last week we went to the British Museum to see the the above exhibition.

The afternoon started with a close encounter with a Rowntree Fruit Pastille Bottle in their Chew Challange at Victoria Station.

We then sat in Green Park  along with most of London and had a sandwich.

Then another hot tube journey and we got to the British Museum

Photos were not allowed in the exhibition but I took a couple in the Great Court looking at the Reading Room and Norman Foster's amazing glazed canopy.
