Cordy is no more

Our purple cordyline that grew near the raised pond is no more. The cold wet weather especially the snow in December has finally proved to much for it.

Now you see it...




Now you don't....(except for the stump which I will come up withthe roots later).



There are fifteen species in this genus, the most common of which is Cordyline australis (which is also known as New Zealand cabbage palm). It can grow to 10m in height so ours had some way to go!
